FlagStarGirls ("we," "us," "the Site") provides a national player profile and rating platform for girls flag football players. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you and your family.

Information we collect

  • Player information provided at signup or by an administrator: name, position, graduating class, school, state, photo, GPA, season stats, measurables, film evaluation notes, and a highlight film link.
  • Guardian information: the parent/guardian email address provided at signup, used to send the profile-confirmation email and any profile-management link.
  • Coach information: name, program/school, and email submitted through the "For Coaches" interest form.
  • Payment information: when a profile is claimed/verified, payment is processed entirely by Square. We do not receive, store, or process your card number or full payment details — Square's own privacy policy governs that information.
  • Public content: messages posted to a team's public "shoutout wall," visible to anyone.
  • Basic usage data: a simple page-view counter per player profile. We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising trackers; if that changes, this policy will be updated first.

How we use this information

  • To create and display a public profile, subject to the guardian-consent controls described below.
  • To send the guardian-confirmation email and any profile-management link.
  • To calculate the star rating from the data on file.
  • To respond to coach interest-list signups.
  • To operate the public team shoutout walls.

Guardian consent for minors

A new player profile is created as private and is not visible to anyone until a parent or guardian confirms it through a one-time emailed link. A guardian may use their profile-management link at any time to update the profile or change its visibility back to private.

Sharing of information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the Site: our email provider (to send confirmation and notification emails), Square (to process Verified subscription payments), and Cloudflare (to host the Site itself).

Data retention and deletion

A guardian may request that a profile be removed at any time by contacting us below, or by using their profile-management link to set the profile to private and requesting deletion. We will remove the associated data within a reasonable time of a verified request.

Children's privacy

This Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. Public profiles are limited to high-school-age athletes; any information about a minor is provided by a parent/guardian or a coach/administrator, and no profile becomes public without guardian confirmation.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with a profile by contacting us at the email below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Site changes. Material changes will be reflected with an updated date above.
